Private & Semi-Private Movement & Mindfulness Sessions with Joanna
Why do a private session?
- Your session will be about you, your needs, and your goals
- We'll explore how your body moves
- We'll help your body re-learn movements it hasn't done for a while
- You'll learn whole-body alignment you can use in any movement class
- You'll gain a greater awareness of your body, how it moves, and what it needs
- You'll get feedback and new ways to adapt exercises, so they work for you
- You'll learn seamless opportunities for moving better in daily life
- You're looking for additional support and accountability.
During Your Initial Private Session:
- We'll talk about your health and movement history and your goals for your session(s).
- We'll observe how you move, and you will learn whole-body alignment principles and exercises that will help you to cultivate greater strength, mobility and ease.
- We'll identify ways to sneak helpful movement into your routine.
Subsequent Private Sessions
After your initial session, we'll continue to explore how your body moves, and we'll identify exercises and habit changes that will support your movement goals. We'll allow your body to guide us and tell us what it needs. Usually in 3 to 5 sessions, we can develop a movement and lifestyle program.
